Frequently asked questions
How do the ratings work?
Every coffee and recipe starts at the same rating. Each time you pick a winner in a head-to-head tasting, the winner gains points and the loser loses some, more so when the result is a surprise. The OVR score on each player card is that rating shown on a 10–99 scale.
Can I just give scores instead?
Yes. Switch to Simple mode in Settings to rate each characteristic from 1 to 5.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your iPhone. Brewdex has no account and no servers. Deleting the app deletes your data.
Does Brewdex sync between devices?
Not yet.
